AI Feature Disclosure
This document explains how Stacks' optional AI-assisted features work at a high level and what users should understand before using them.
1. Current Feature Scope
Stacks may offer optional AI-assisted features, including in-app media-generation, media-editing, or text-assistance tooling. Current repo-visible AI functionality includes Grok Imagine workflows and related AI-credit purchase or entitlement checks.
2. How The Feature Works
When a user chooses to use an AI-assisted feature, the user submits text, prompts, source media, or related content for processing, that content may be transmitted to a third-party provider, the provider may return revised, improved, or generated output, and the user can then review, edit, accept, reject, or further modify that output within the product flow. Third-party providers involved in those features operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
3. Important Limitations
AI-assisted output may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, biased, repetitive, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable. Users are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-assisted output before using, publishing, or sharing it.
4. No Guarantee Of Accuracy Or Originality
Stacks does not guarantee that AI-assisted output is factually accurate, original, legally compliant, non-infringing, or fit for any particular purpose. Users remain responsible for the final content they choose to keep or share.
5. Credits, Eligibility, And Billing
Certain AI-assisted features may require a paid storage plan, available AI credits, or both. AI credits are consumable feature entitlements that may be used at the rates disclosed in the app at the time of use. Except where required by law or where a refund is granted by Apple or another applicable platform provider, purchases are final once credits are applied. Stacks may deny or reverse credits or feature access if a purchase is refunded, revoked, charged back, duplicated, or associated with fraud, abuse, or technical error.
6. Provider And Processing Disclosure
When users choose to use AI-assisted functionality, submitted prompts, source media, generated outputs, and related operational or billing records may be processed by the relevant provider under that provider's own terms and privacy practices. Stacks may change providers or feature scope over time as the product evolves.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use AI-assisted features to generate unlawful, infringing, harassing, deceptive, sexually exploitative, non-consensual, or harmful content, to impersonate another person, or to bypass Stacks safety or payment controls. AI-assisted features remain subject to the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
