What is Stacks
A private message made from media, voice, and context.
A Stack is a Stacks Message: a private place to bring photos, videos, voice, and words together. Use it for the story behind a piece, a drop, an event, a gift, or a personal moment someone should be able to revisit.

Add a tap-to-open layer to a picture frame, album, card, sticker, or gift. Write a Stacks Message to a supported NFC tag so someone can tap the object and open the story in front of them. A studio note behind a piece, a recap from an event, a family card that plays your voice, a handmade gift that tells its story — made by you, opened by them.

Write, scan, write protect, batch write, and erase supported tags. Use them for Stacks Messages, Socials, Payments, or Personal Utilities.
Scan tags
Scan is used to quickly check the content of a tag and information associated with the tag. If you ever lose track of what is on a tag, you can scan to verify its content without launching a message or link.
Write protect on write
Apply write protection during the write step. Once write protected, no one can overwrite your message. Only the owner using the Stacks app may unlock it.
Batch writes
Prepare multiple supported tags with the same destination when you are setting up stickers, cards, packaging, or an event set.
Erase tags
Erase supported editable tags when you want to reuse them, then write the next destination when you are ready.

Who can see what I add to Stacks? +
Only the people you choose. Every message has access controls — you pick who can view or receive it, and you can change that at any time. There are no public feeds and no followers.
What kinds of things can a Stack hold? +
Photos, videos, voice messages, text, conversations, Q&As, prompts, and creative details — alone or mixed together. A Stack is flexible, so it can be a single voice message or a fuller experience around one person, object, moment, or story.
Who is Stacks for? +
Stacks is built for creators, makers, artists, hosts, families, and thoughtful senders who want media to feel intentional instead of disposable.
Is my content private and secure? +
Yes. Your media and messages are stored securely and access is controlled by you. Stacks doesn't run ads or sell your information. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
Can I save something to be shared later? +
That's one of the most loved parts of Stacks. You can prepare a message now and choose to pass it along at the right time — a drop, event, birthday, milestone, or day in the future.
How do Phygital Stacks Messages work? +
In Stacks, choose a Stacks Message and write it to a supported NFC sticker or tag. Place it on a picture frame, album, card, sticker, gift, or meaningful object. When someone taps it, Stacks opens the message viewer. You stay in control and can revoke access later.
What can NFC Utilities write? +
Use NFC Utilities for Stacks Messages, Socials, Payments, or Personal Utilities. You can scan, write protect, batch write, and erase supported tags from the app.
How much does it cost? +
Stacks is free to start. Optional storage subscriptions and AI credits are available through the App Store if you need more room or want extra tools — entirely up to you.
